Egyptian coach Hector Cuper has revealed that the mentality of the Nigerian players is what worries him the most before their next clash.

Egypt will host Nigeria on Tuesday in Alexandria City in day four of the AFCON 2017 qualifiers.

Both teams shared a match point in day three of the qualifiers last Friday in Kaduna.

Cuper told supersport.com that Nigeria has a very good squad that was better in Kaduna than he even envisioned. The coach revealed that “they all play in Europe and have a good professional frame of mind. Their mentality is as solid as a rock and they do not want to let their country down.”

“We played a good game in Nigeria but so did they. We had some lapses and we will fix those before the next match. We need shots at their goal and have to get there quicker and more often,” he added

“Nigeria will come to Cairo and they want all three points. This means they must take risks. We respect them but are also ready for them.”

Earlier on the Ministry of Interior had approved allowing a total of 20,000 fans to watch the game as opposed to 10,000. On that the gaffer was happy, saying: “More fans will attend the game and that will be very good for us as we need all the help we can get.”
