Giroud Chooses To Leave Chelsea For AC Milan

By Daily sports on June 25, 2021

Olivier Giroud has reportedly decided to leave Chelsea for AC Milan.

Chelsea activated a clause to extend Giroud’s contract for another season to ensure they wouldn't lose him for free this summer.

The Blues are still willing to sell the veteran striker.

Sky Italia says Giroud prefers a move to AC Milan over their neighbours Inter Milan.

The Rossoneri are hopeful Chelsea will let Giroud walk for free in order to trim their wage bill.

Giroud has agreed a two-year contract with Milan worth €3.5million per year plus bonuses. (Tribal Football)
