Nigeria U-20 departs for Omdurman

Nigeria U20 departed for Omdurman on Thursday ahead of this weekend’ s AFCON U-20 qualifier against Sudan.

The Flying Eagles defeated  Burundi 3-1 on aggregate in the previous round must negotiate their way past the north Africans to qualify for the competition billed for Zambia in 2017.

Meanwhile, coach Emmanuel Amuneke axed Funsho Bamgboye from the squad with the duo of Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Nwakali making the cut.

The team defeated City Strikers 2-1 in their last warm up game on Tuesday.
