By Daily Sports on August 24, 2016

Plateau United forward, Reuben Bala has said his side are no more within the touching grip of relegation.

The Tin City side improved their pole distance away from the gale of relegation with 1-0 win against Nasarawa United on Monday in Jos.

Bala said his side are now dreaming of winning one of the continental tickets in the on-going Nigerian top-flight.

“We are no more thinking of relegation in the on-going league season not after the home victory against Nasarawa United on Monday.

“We just need another victory to further guarantee us a sure heaven at the end of the season.

“Right now we have moved our attention to securing one of the continental tickets in the on-going top-flight.

“The task is not that daunting as a mere eight points separate us from the torchbearers, Wikki Tourists.

“Of course, we have every reason to dream big now the relegation fever is somehow off our minds.

“We are 100% relaxed and can comfortably challenge any team for the whole three points at stake.

“That’s the spirit we are taking to Port Harcourt to confront Rivers United for the maximum points.

“We do not foresee any difficulty in the match at Rivers United as our performance rate is at its peak.

“Rivers United should watch out for us as we are coming for the points or point in the encounter,” said the Plateau United goal poacher to supersport.com.

The NPFL newcomers have notched up 45 points in the on-going top-flight eight adrift league leaders, Wikki Tourists.
