PGA mourns Frank Ehiozogie

 The Professional Golfers Association of Nigeria (PGA) has announced the death of one her members, Mr. Frank Ehiozogie.

Ehiozoge, a member of PGA’s Executive Committee from 2008 to 2010 died in his sleep on Friday, January 13, 2017 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Director of the Association, Mr. Samson Lawal, said he has fond memories of Ehiozogie, whom he described as a lively player that many looked forward to meeting on the Tour.

“He lighted our mood on the course with his simple and amiable personality. It is a hard feeling to think he is no more, as a body we will definitely miss his and pray the Lord to comfort his family,” Lawal said.

Late Frank Ehiozogie was born on February 25, 1964 and joined the Senior Tour of the PGA in 2014, he hailed from Benin in Edo State.

Before his death, he was a resident golf professional at the Air Assault Golf Course in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
