Gernot Rohr to meet Chelsea boss over Moses, Aina

By Daily Sports on July 5, 2017

Gernot Rohr is due to land in London on Wednesday and will have talks with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, according to the Daily Post.

The German tactician wants to discuss the situations of Nigerians Victor Moses and Ola Aina.

Rohr is hoping to convince Conte to an early release of the pair ahead of the Super Eagles’ double-header against Cameroon in 2018 World Cup qualifiers in late August and early September.

Moses was a key player in the unfamiliar role of right wingback and helped Chelsea claim their sixth league title, while Aina made only a handful of appearances.

Rohr is also planning a meeting with Aina, who has successfully applied to switch international allegiance from England to Nigeria.
