Sunshine Stars capture Adah

By Daily Sports on March 2, 2016

Attacking midfielder, Stephen Adah has been officially registered by Sunshine Stars for the ongoing 2015/16 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

The former Enugu Rangers goal poacher campaigned for demoted side, FC Taraba in the immediate past season.

Adah said he is right now keenly waiting to make his debut for the Owena Waves in the three-week-old Nigerian top flight.

“I have been registered officially by Sunshine Stars for the ongoing NPFL season so I’m just waiting to make my debut for the Akure side.

“The much awaited debut will not be on Wednesday at newcomers, MFM FC in matchday 4 clash in Lagos but hopefully in our next home match against FC Ifeanyiubah.

“I’m already counting days as well as dreaming for the D-day so that I can start to say thank you to Sunshine Stars for believing in me.

“My mission is to add own quota to ensure Sunshine Stars win titles at the end of the ongoing football season or worst case scenario claim a continental ticket.

“I’m happy as well as satisfied with what is offered and on ground for me to achieve a successful season,” said Adah to supersport.com.

Sunshine Stars will be the guests of the newly promoted side, MFM FC in midweek’s matchday 4 clash at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.

The Akure Gunners have chalked one point in the three-week-old top flight though with a match to spare champions, Enyimba. (supersport.com)
