Mourinho Pushing To Bring Back Bale From Real Madrid

By Daily sports on August 21, 2020

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is exploring the prospect of bringing Real Madrid outcast Gareth Bale back to the North London giants.

Real coach Zinedine Zidane has no plans to call on Bale and has told the Welshman to find himself a new club.

But there have been claims in both Spain and England that Bale is prepared to sit out the final two years of his Real contract rather than take a pay-cut for the chance to play elsewhere.

Deportes Cuarto says Mourinho is keen to speak with Bale in order to convince him about a return to Tottenham. It was with Spurs where he was happiest and Mourinho wants to build his new team around the Welshman.

For their part, Real won’t stand in Bale's way if Mourinho can convince him. Bale is on €15m-a-year – net – in Madrid. (Tribal Football)
