Thiago Still Wants Out; Liverpool Must Meet Asking Price

By Daily sports on August 25, 2020

Thiago Alcantara remains determined to leave Bayern Munich, despite winning the Champions League final on Sunday.

The 29-year-old was a standout performer for Hans Dieter-Flick's side as the Bundesliga champions ground out a 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain to win their sixth European title on Sunday.

Premier League champions Liverpool have been strongly linked with the playmaker, although it has been reported that the Anfield club are unwilling to meet Bayern's £23m price tag for the player considering he has just 12 months left of his deal.

And BILD's head of football Christian Falk insists Thiago still has his heart set on a Bayern exit this summer, and will be a Liverpool player if the English club meet Bayern's valuation for the Spaniard.

“Thiago didn’t change his mind last night. So his Future will still be in @LFC if the club pays the transfer fee to Bayern,” Falk posted to social media.

Arsenal and Manchester City are also keen on the midfielder. (Tribal Football)
