Man Utd Boss Solskjaer Admits Cavani Injury Concern

By Daily sports on December 6, 2020

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits Edinson Cavani collected an injury in victory at West Ham.

Marcus Rashford came on at half-time for Edinson Cavani and Reds manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was asked about his no.7 after the match at the London Stadium.

“Injuries… so it’s unfortunate that sometimes you get muscle injuries and Edi had to come off with an injury, hopefully it’s not too bad,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports about the Uruguayan.

Anthony Martial, on his 25th birthday, also had to exit midway through the second half with what looked like an injury to his thigh.

“We lost him and Edinson. Hopefully [they’re] not too bad but they couldn’t carry on,” Solskjaer emphasised.

“They’re not bad ones hopefully. We’ll do scans on them and hopefully they’ll be available soon.

“There’s a game already on Tuesday. It’ll probably be [like this] this year. Some games we have to do without players and I’m glad we’ve got the substitutions we have.” (Tribal Football)
