NLO: Messiah FC Brush Aside Jossy FC

By Taiwo Ibrahim on March 14, 2021

Messiah FC recorded an emphatic 3-0 victory over Jossy FC in their third match of the ongoing 2021 NLO season.

Messiah FC started on a bright note winning corner kicks in quick succession in an attempt to lay down an early marker in the game.

Few minutes later, Adeoti Ismael opened the scoring for Messiah FC against the run of play after Jossy FC failed to clear their lines.

Lawal Toheeb increased their lead with a superb effort at the edge of the 18-yard-box to make it 2-0.

Deji Alo put the icing on the cake with a sensational free-kick in the second half to wrap up the victory and hand Messiah FC another vital victory.

Messiah FC Coach, Dosu David, expressed his delight after another win and a clean sheet.

“It was a comprehensive performance from the boys, it shows we are improving game by game and to score three goals without conceding is a welcome development, but we will not be complacent, we are going for victory in our next match on Monday,” he said.

Messiah FC will slug it out with Collins Edwin SC on Monday for a chance to increase their tally on the log.
