Barcelona Ready To Try Again For Matthijs de Ligt

By Daily sports on April 30, 2021

Barcelona are ready to try again for Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt this summer.

When leaving Ajax almost two years ago, De Ligt chose Juve ahead of a counter offer from Barca.

But new Barca president Joan Laporta is ready to try for the Holland international, says El Chiringuito. Barca coach Ronald Koeman has recommended his countryman to Laporta and the president agrees.

Laporta is hoping Juve’s financial problems will force them to consider selling De Ligt.

Should Juve miss Champions League qualification this season, Barca will slap in an offer for the stopper. (Tribal Football)
