Xavi Confident Al Sadd Won’t Block Barcelona Call

By Daily Sports on September 25, 2021

Al Sadd coach Xavi is ready to break his contract should Barcelona come calling.

For many on Barca’s board, Xavi should be the choice selected if Ronald Koeman is eventually axed in the coming weeks.

Mundo Deportivo says should Xavi’s contract not carry a Barca clause, there’s a confidence amongst his management team that Al Sadd won’t block him from departing for a Nou Camp return.

The Catalan famously turned down Barca when they approached him about replacing Quique Setien.

However, he now feels better equipped to take the job. (Tribal Football)
