Head coach Thomas Tuchel has revealed that N’Golo Kante and Trevoh Chalobah will both return to the Chelsea squad for Thursday’s Premier League fixture with Everton.
Kante has been absent since suffering a knock to his knee during the Champions League meeting with Juventus on November 23.
Eight days later, Chalobah sustained a hamstring injury in the match against Watford, an issue which has seen him remain on the sidelines.
However, at his pre-match press conference, Tuchel revealed that both players would feature on the substitutes’ bench for the meeting with the Toffees after coming through two training sessions.
The German also confirmed that Mateo Kovacic and Ben Chilwell were the only two absentees from the squad, due to coronavirus and a knee injury respectively. (Sports Mole)
